We’re pleased to share that a new, state-of-the-art Automated External Defibrillator (AED) has been installed at our Enterprise House facility.
While we hope it will never be needed, the presence of this device brings peace of mind to our teams, visitors, and the wider community.
Modern AEDs are designed to be simple, intuitive, and user-friendly. Although our Emergency Response Team (ERT) members are trained in its use, it’s important to know that anyone can use the device in an emergency.
The AED provides clear voice instructions, guiding the user step-by-step through the process. You don’t need medical training, just the willingness to help. In critical situations, this accessibility can make all the difference.
Beyond our own staff, we’ve also registered the AED on the national defibrillator network, meaning it’s accessible to members of the public during normal office hours. This extends the safety benefits beyond our walls and supports the local area with potentially life-saving equipment.
