Scope
The Adiabatic Spray Cooling System will be mounted on the units as a complete package including:
- Nozzle system with a high level of atomisation of water spray Optional high pressure spray circulation booster pump
- UV lamp system design for industrial disinfection, which controls bacteria without chemicals. Bacteria and viruses in the water exposed to UV light will be destroyed, eliminating legionella danger
- Flow switch
- Solenoid and stop valves
- Liquid flow meter (optional)
- Pressure gauge (optional)
Delivered complete with all internal piping, electrical wiring and mounted in an IP65 steel enclosure.
Project Details
Adiabatic Cooling Systems from Denco offer an affordable method of reducing the design ambient temperatures for Dry Air Liquid Coolers. Adiabatic cooling is a modern alternative to traditional cooling towers, achieving fluid temperatures to within 5 °C of wet-bulb ambient temperature. Adiabatic cooling is only operated in high ambient temperatures, therefore water consumption is kept to a minimum.
Denco can supply systems completely integrated on flat-bed, vertical and ‘V’ Type Coolers. Systems can also be retro-fitted onto existing installations.
The Adiabatic Spray Cooling System is activated if the temperature rises above the desired set-point. The system will only be activated when the fans alone cannot achieve the full cooling load.
